Trading cards are believed to have their origins connected to advertising product inserts used in the 1800s & 1900s. Today we know trading cards as displaying an image of a person, place or thing on one side, and on the other side containing information or memorabilia content pertaining to what is displayed. They come in a myriad of types, such as sports, comic book heroes, cartoons, and television shows.

Trading Cards are not suitable in content for commercial use, however may be acceptable for editorial use they play a minor role, and appear in context.
