Originally named the Lyon Satolas Airport, this futuristic airport was renamed in the year 2000 after a famous French author Antoine de Saint-Exupery, on the day of the author’s 100th birthday. The airport was designed by architect Santiago Calatrava Vallis, and includes an airline terminal and railway station. It is located in Colombier-Saugnieu, 20 km from Lyon, France.
Interior and Exterior shots featuring the airport (including the railway station) are unsuitable for commercial use. Cityscape shots where the property plays a minor role may be acceptable. For editorial use, exterior shots of the location should be acceptable, however interior shots requires consent to be obtained. Additionally, credit to the architect should be cited in the description accompanying any submission.
