Biltmore House is an Estate located in Asheville, North Carolina, USA. The estate was built between the years 1889 and 1898 by George Washington Vanderbilt II, and covers approximately 8000 acres. Family dwelt at the estate until 1956, when it was open to the public as a museum, with all rights to the property being held by The Biltmore Company.
