Memorial and Burial Sites https://wiki.gettyimages.com/memorial-and-burial-sites/ Tue, 06 Dec 2016 18:32:17 +0000 http://wiki.gettyimages.com/?p=2904 Memorial Sites constructed to the memory of people or events are places that deserve special consideration. These locations often feature art installations as well display the names of families and individuals, paying tribute to a significant moment in time. It’s also important to consider cultural practices and sensitivities involving sites such as cemeteries and memorials.

Generally speaking, memorial or burial sites should be avoided in content available for commercial use, especially if these sites are modern in construction and where the names of families or people are displayed. These locations are better featured within content available for editorial use only.

Ruins or very old derelict sites may be suitable in commercial use content. When in doubt always research sites prior to shooting.
